LG's new outing with the touchscreen, the KF700 will have people dribbling in the chin when they see this beauty. Although a little hefty at 110 grams, it doesn't disappoint when it comes to its many features. This hybrid combines the best of technologies in mobile phones today. This touchscreen slider complete with an alphanumeric keypad makes this thing of beauty pretty slick-looking.

Equipped with haptic technology, browsing through the many functions of the KF700 is easier. With a gentle press or finger swipe, you can access the many menu options in the mobile phone. The navigator system is strategically located at the left side along with the OK button. On the right side, you have the camera as well as the lock and unlock functions. The icons are neatly arranged on the screen and you can access widgets like the clock, notepad or calculator. They are usually hidden in the sliding pane to the right but you can access them by easily sliding out the pane.

The KF700 has fast HSDPA with speed up to 7.2 mbps. It supports WAP and HTML browsers with optional tabbed browsing for trouble-free internet experience. What makes the KF700 unique in terms of its interface is the fluidity in how the pages move from one screen to another. You can move from web page to web page with ease or from one screen to another, much like the iPhone. The best thing however, is the ability of the user to use the keypad options for text messaging as well as short emailing. No need for a cumbersome stylus that can easily get lost.

Performance-wise, the music player can hold its own with other mobile phones in the market today. It supports MP3, AAC, WAV and WMA file formats with loudspeaker capability. The camera is a standard 3 megapixel camera but the added bonus of a LED flash, autofocus and image stabilizer makes it worthwhile. Truly, the LG KF700 manages to give its consumers the best that technology can offer.
