P is for P1i

Last week, I was shopping around at my local cell phone store when I saw what looked like a scientific calculator. I asked the salesperson what phone that is and if I may have a look at it. The salesperson replied "It's not your ordinary cell phone. It's the new P1i smart phone from Sony Ericsson."

My first impression of this phone was it looked very smart. It makes me feel like my IQ increased by 15 points just by holding it in my hands. When holding this phone, the feel is that it is sturdy and weighted. This is because the build quality is solid and aluminum was used on the outer shell. Inserting text with the P1i wasn't much of a hassle due to its unique QWERTY keyboard.

?This phone comes with a 2.6 inches, 256,000 colors, 240x320 pixels touch screen and the Symbian OS v9.1 UIQ 3.0. What does this mean? It means that using the P1i will be as exhilarating as learning how to drive a car for the first time. For example, I was playing a few of the games, sending text messages, and making the schedule for the weekend with a few touches using the stylus that came with the phone. What makes this phone such a good multi-tasker is probably because of the 128 MB RAM.

The reason this phone stands out from the rest of the smart phones in the market is because of its unique design, quality display, expandable memory, and good battery life. It sports an amazing 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto-focus but it lags for a few seconds when I try to take a picture. Other weaknesses may be the lack of EDGE, HSPDA, 850mhz band for North American users, and conventional navigation keys.

Overall, I believe this phone will satisfy most tech-savy people. You can look smart and sophisticated?wherever you go and?others will notice.
