The Apple iPod Nano is the most popular music player of today. The device comes with a dimension of 3.5 in height, 1.6 in width and 0.27 in depth. The weight of the set is 1.5 oz. It has a 1.5 inch display screen that is capable of giving a resolution of 176 x 132 pixels. The Nano has a memory capacity of 1GB. However, it is available in a multiple range; and the memory varies from 2GB to 4GB flash drive.

The Apple iPod Nano has connectivity options in the form of USB that it used through a dock connector. There is also a stereo mini jack that ensures connectivity through a wire.

Any music that is played on the Nano is supported by audio in formats such as AAC, protected AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR. There can also be other formats that are audible formats such as Apple Lossless, WAV and AIFF. This gadget is not just meant for playing music files but videos and albums can also be played on the 1.5 inch display screen. So, the user is entertained with music as well as video shows.

The frequency response of the apple ipod nano 8GB is kept at 20Hz to 20,000Hz. So, the device can be calibrated at these frequency ranges to listen to music and songs. The battery power gives a playtime of 14 hours and 4 hrs of Photo slide show. Thus, one can use the gadget to watch slide shows of pictures and video trailers. It takes about 1.5 hrs for charging of 80% of the battery capacity. However, the entire battery can be recharged within 3 hrs of charging. Once recharged, the iPod can be carried to distant places with ease. There are also some accessories that come along with the kit which makes using this device a "fun" experience. These are the headset, armband, and nano tubes that together combine to make the whole experience of "listening to music" quite fascinating.
