Mobile phone manufacturer Gresso are famous for making luxurious and expensive, they have now announced two new versions of their Avantgarde mobiles. The Luna and the Sol - now they have both previously been available in a Gold range, with real Gold accents. The Luna Gold costs in the region of 5,000 Euros, and the Sol Gold around 7,000 Euros!!!
Now Gresso have announced more affordable versions, with Steel instead of Gold. Now before I tell you the 'more affordable' price lets go through the specifications, even though the specs aren't really the reason someone would buy one of these phones.
They have 2 megapixel cameras, Bluetooth, expandable memories and can operate on Windows Mobile 6. The phones are made from African Blackwood, which like all trees is unique meaning that each phones cover will be slightly different, the steel used is aircraft stainless steel and the screens are 42K sapphire crystal glass. So yes they are very fancy, but swapping gold for steel has apparently made them more affordable...so here comes the prices.
The Gresso Luna Steel and the Sol Steel will retail for around 3,500 Euros! While it is a saving from the Gold versions, it still isn't in the range of most peoples budgets. If you are looking for a phone that will make people go 'ooh' and 'aah' you can spend a lot less than this and still get a reaction, the Nokia N95 8GB or Apple iPhone will probably do the trick without you having to remortgage in the process.
