The Older Generations Mobile Phone

By: John Gray

If you are of the older generation and find the miniscule feature packed mobile phones that are filling our stores, fiddly and confusing, fear not as LG could be coming to the rescue.

LG have unveiled the KF300 which is a variant of the LG SV300 wine phone. It is a flip phone that looks like a chunkier version of the Motorola V3. The unique features of the KF300 are that its speakers, characters and its buttons are twice the size of a standard mobile phone. This makes the buttons much easier to see and makes the phone much easier to hear. It also comes with a decently sized 2.2 inch internal display screen, as well as a hidden 1.3 inch external display screen. But it doesn't stop there, underneath the internal display screen are four separate short cut keys that take you directly to the phonebook, organiser, alarm clock and a favourites button, making it simple to select the feature that you want quickly.

The LG KF300 isn't a high tech mobile phone but it does have the added bonus of an FM radio, a 2 mega pixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.

The mobile phone is aimed at the more mature user, but personally I think children (if they actually need a mobile phone!) might find this an easily operational mobile phone. Even though it is larger than the average mobile phone it is still a stylish little number.

The LG KF300 will be available in two colour schemes which are black and pink. Unfortunately it is unknown when the handset will be released.
