Secrets to Clearing Acne & Relieving Dry Skin

There are several ways to clearing your skin and relieving dryness. There so many people out there who need to know how to clear their skin without spending a fortune. Dry skin is something that you can avoid.

I want to first start off with showing you how to clear your skin. If you use these secrets you should start seeing improvements within weeks.

Here are the secrets you can use to feel relieved:

1) Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil works well on fighting acne. It is a natural substance, which has been used all through out history for treating cuts, burns, acne and other infections. Tea tree oil is an essential oil derived from the Malalueca tree, which grows in North America.

The way tea tree oil works is by penetrating deep down into the skin layers relieving pain and healing your wounds. Not only does it disinfect but also deodorizes leaving you with a pleasant scent.

Massage tea tree oil into your blemishes and it will start to sooth your skin. For best results, look for 100% pure tea tree oil.

2) Myrrh Wash

To prevent yourself from harming your skin you want to treat it gently. This is why herbalists recommend myrrh wash. You don't have to worry about it being to strong on your skin. Myrrh wash treats acne and helps to prevent breakouts.

You can make your own myrrh wash. All you need is a shallow dish, some water and myrrh tincture. Add about 25 drops and then start to mix it. Take a swab of cotton and dab it into the dilution. And now brush gently across your face. Do this during the morning or evenings.

3) Barberry Capsule And Fennel Tea

There may be lots of build-ups of toxins and impurities in your body. If you fail to eliminate them they can and will eventually exit through your skin.

Use barberry capsules to cleanse your insides and eliminate toxins, which may be causing you skin problems. Barberries are often used for reducing inflammation, bruises, aches and sprains. Use up to four cups of fennel tea after taking the capsules. Fennel tea is used as a digestive stimulant.

4) Azelaic Acid

Azelaic Acid is derived from wheat and helps to cleanse the skin from acne. It also reduces inflammation, exfoliates and clears up your skin. The gel works well to clear up papules and pustules. Can also be used on rosacea preventing flair ups.

Azelaic acid will keep pores clear. Now I must warn you that it does have side effects but nothing to serious. And so you can choose whether or not you would like to test it for your self.

5) If you are suffering from acne; trying to eliminate oil from the skin is not recommended. Use oil that is derived from flowers and plants. You can apply it directly to the infected area without it clogging up pores.

Some essential oils to use are:

Geranium oil: Is known for its healing powers. It is mostly used as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic.

Chamomile oil: Also good for treating inflammation in skin.

Bergamot oil: Helps to reduce stress, acne, inflammation, infections etc. Also have antiseptic properties.

6) Papayas

Papayas are not just for eating. You can actually use them for treating dry skin. In fact, there are moisturizers that are made from papayas. Here is a way that you can use it to benefit your skin and relieve the dryness.

Apply the flesh of the papaya on your face and let it sit for about five minutes. Remove it sooner if you start to feel any stinging or tingling. It is believed that the enzyme in the papaya helps to get rid of dead skin cells. You should be able to find this product in your produce store.

7) Carrot Seed Oil

In this day and age most essential oils are overlooked. A lot of people feel the need to use expensive moisturizers to smooth their skin. Carrot seed oil is an essential oil capable of toning, smoothing, moisturizing and promotes healing to your skin.

You can use the standard dilution guideline of 2% essential oil and 98% carrier oil, which may be grape seed oil, olive oil, peanut oil, walnut oil or sesame oil etc. An aroma therapist in the herb store can help match your skin type and carrier oil.
