Sony Ericsson's must appreciated camera phone range has not only altered the standards of the market, but also revolutionised the way we understood the capabilities of a camera mobile. In an attempt to deliver nothing short of best, Sony Ericsson has consistently tried to push the boundaries between mobile phones and standalone digital cameras. With such a strong pedigree there is no surprise that the next in the line- Sony Ericsson K810i is also vested with some ace ergonomics and impressive looks to maintain the hype and popularity of the genre. The main point of difference between Sony Ericsson K810i and its predecessor is the design of the handset. To begin with, the Sony Ericsson K810i comes with a glossy front section - much in sync with the contemporary shiny fashion phones. Next, the handset comes with a rather interesting keypad that features small circular silver keys. Rest of the look and the feel remains much the same. In terms of features this camera phone does not have any obvious additions to it. The Sony Ericsson K810i comes with a 3.2 MP camera - same as that of its predecessor. The camera settings are augmented with extra features as well. It comes with same auto-focus and a xenon flash. Apart from shooting still pictures, the camera software of the Sony Ericsson K810i allows you to make videos as well. One can send pictures via MMS, email or blog them to a Blogger site.

Probably the only difference in the software of the Sony Ericsson K810i is a feature called Photo Fix. In this, the camera automatically adjusts light balance, brightness and contrast. The phone also comes with a second VGA camera for video calling. Most of the other features of Sony Ericsson K810i remains pretty straight forward. There's Bluetooth and support for A2DP), web browser, 3G connectivity and infrared, a competent MP3 player, provision an expandable Memory Stick Micro M2 slot, support for IMAP4 email accounts and POP3, an RSS feed reader, an FM radio.
