Not to be outdone by rival Sony Ericsson's Walkman line up of music phones, Nokia have came up wit their own music solutions - the XpressMusic series. The Nokia 5300 , one of the reputed member of the line up comes with an optimized music player, high quality loudspeaker and dedicated hard keys for music control. This little powerhouse can take on any model in its segment.

The phone is distinguished with its white strips and gives a strong impression of youthfulness. Being a slider fitted with auto-spring mechanism, the Nokia 5300 have a definite edge over other music phones in the same price bracket. The 262,144 colours TFT QVGA display further tilt the equation in 5300's favor. The user interface of this S40 3rd edition-based device is engrossing and easily manageable.

Powered with a New S40 music player the Nokia 5300 plays all media files of MP3, AAC, eAAC+, AAC+, WMA and Midi formats with high power and clarity. You can create and manage playlists, customize the player with different skin and can listen the music on your favourite headphone on the adapter compatible with any 3.5 mm audio jack. Go wireless with the A2DP-profile for Bluetooth stereo headset. Other than the inbuilt combo memory of 32 MB flash and 16 MB RAM, a standard kit includes a microSD card expandable up to 2 GB. A visual radio completes your musical experience.

A 1.3 megapixel CMOS-powered camera with dedicated key and digital zoom is included in the Nokia 5300. You can also capture fine quality videos as well. Take a break with the pre-installed 3D games or download your favourite ones from the Internet though EDGE/GPRS (Class 10) and even faster HSCSD.
