The LG KG220 was launched in April 2006 as a low-end camera phone. It's attractive with a sleek clamshell design and features a .3 MP camera with built in flash. The display screen is adequate with 65k colour resolution. Other features include the voice recorder for messages meant to be saved, a WAP browser and with a weight of only 70 grams, they are comfortable to use and carry.
While it doesn't include Bluetooth or infrared, it has a substantial 4 MB of memory. If you're looking for a basic mobile phone with not a lot of whistles and bells, this entry into the market will suit you very well. It's a basic mobile phone which just happens to be a very attractive model.
Measuring 84 mm by 43.5 mm by 20.5 mm and weighing in at 73 grams, it's not a heavy weight phone. The display is CSTN type with 65K colour options, and measures 128 pixels by 128 pixels.
The LG KG220 comes with polyphonic 40 channel ringtones and you can download customizing options. Vibration mode is available.
The Photocall phone book allows for 500 entries which you can use with fun picture logos. Up to 20 dialed calls are recorded, as well as 10 received calls and 10 missed calls, so you don't need to worry about who tried to reach you. 2MB of user memory is included.
Data uses GPRS system. You get the benefit of messaging systems using MMS, EMS and SMS and a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser is standard. For your leisure activities there are included games, but you can also down load additional games.
The standard casing is a creamy black with no sharp edges, just sleek perfection in the clamshell look.
