It is always a good idea to have your own financial planning. You need to have your personal budget. And it is important for you to stick to your own budget. In order to do so, you need to control your spending. However, one thing you may not know is that your emotions will affect the amount of money you spend.

As a matter of fact, a lot of people will go shopping when they feel depressed. In most cases, they will spend money that they do not plan to spend originally. However, the problem here is that spending and shopping will not make you feel happier. You are trying to make yourself happier by shopping but the fact is that it does not help!

As a result, shopping out of depression will do you harm only. You will be spending a lot of money. You will only find that you are out of your budget after spending so much money. And you will get nothing other than that.

Besides, you should also be careful when a shop is on sale. In fact, the notion behind on sale is to push you to buy. The shops are only trying to control your emotions. As a result, if you are a person who cannot control yourself, you should avoid going the shops when they are on sale unless you have something you want to purchase!

You can think of your personal experience. Do you usually spend more than you originally intend to spend when you go to a shop which is on sale? The answer is probably a YES. In most cases, the shops are trying to attract more people and as mentioned, they will also try to push people to purchase more. You will just fall into this trap if you go to a shop which is on sale.

As a result, you should try to plan before you shop. You should never go to a shop without any planning. It is very important that you also have a budget in mind. If an item is a lot more expensive than you original expect, you should never purchase unless you cannot live without it.

When you feel depressed, you should stay away from any kind of shops. Instead of go shopping, you should try to arrange to play some sports when you are depressed. As a matter of fact, playing sports such as tennis is a good way to cure your feeling of depression!
