How Can You Improve Your Financial Situation?

By: Jerry Leung

You may want to find ways to improve your financial situation. However, you may also find that it is not easy to do that. In fact, you will find it a lot easier if you can do it step by step. And the followings are the steps you need to that in order to do so.

First of all, you need to save some money every week. You need to do that once you get your salary otherwise you will just spend all the money you get. You will just spend more if you have more money in your pocket!

Besides, you should never purchase anything you do not really need. Food and drinks are something we need. On the contrary, you may not need a new mobile phone when there is nothing wrong with the one you are using. In most cases you just want to buy a new phone. Buying only for the things you need will help you to save a lot of money.

You should only use the ATMs of your bank. Of course you can still get the money from ATMs of the other banks. But they will usually some fee in this case. You should try to avoid this unnecessary spending. As result, you should never use ATMs of the other banks.

You should also try to repay all your credit card debts as soon as possible. The interest rate of the debt is very high, it can be as high as 19%! You are just like giving your money to a stranger. You are just wasting your money! You should try to repay the debts as quickly as you can so that you do not need to pay the extra for the interest. Consider loan consolidation if it is really necessary.

If possible, you should use your debit card instead of your credit card. A lot of people are not accustomed to purchasing using the cards. However, the two kinds of cards are basically different. When you pay using your debit card, you are trying to pay with the fund you have in your bank account. On the contrary, if you pay using the credit card, the bank will pay for you first. It is just like a loan. And you will need to pay the interest if you fail to repay within the grace period! So, you should always avoid using your credit card.
