Living from Payday to Payday

By: Jim Williams

Those who made it through the great depression knew what it was like to get along with no payday at all for long periods of time. It was a terrible era for millions. Many people today that have no job, can understand the agony of those of many years ago.

There are many of us that are fortunate and have a dependable job, although in some of our situations it is a real strain to survive from one week until the next. It is nearly just as difficult when you have a steady job and are still in a financial strain the most of the time.

Many times if we do not have enough funds to get through from check to check, it might be our own doing because we have a habit of going into debt for items that are not really essential to us and for items that we just should not buy. After we have purchased that new home or automobile, that is when reality sets in and we realize that it is almost impossible to pay off these items with ease.

When you realize your are in that financially strained boat that millions of others are riding in along with you, there is not a lot of that you can do to change it. The biggest portion of us will elect to keep struggling however we can rather than lose a nice house or car that we believe we need to own.

Even though there are millions who will still do the unthinkable and use credit cards to add to their income if needed, others are picking a different option to get through the pinch when the money runs out before the week is through. Check advance and payday loans companies are thriving these days and it is not surprising.

It is fairly easy to get these kinds of loans. There is normally no credit history check and the only paperwork required is a one or two of your last checking account monthly records and verification of a job. Of course, proof may vary from place to place. It is a simple and quick way to obtain some cash that you can repay, normally within a couple of weeks.

Just keep in mind when you go and acquire a payday loan that it is supposed to come out of your next paycheck and do not permit yourself to get over loaded. Generally these firms will let you to pay the fee and run your loan for a couple of more weeks, but this will only cost you more in the long run. Keep in mind that going over your capabilities is probably what got you into the mess from the beginning.
