By: Thomas Cutler

Formally titled the America Creating Opportunities to Meaningfully Promote Excellence in Technology, Education and Science Act (H.R. 2272), the far-reaching legislation passed the House by a vote of 367-57 on August 2 and received unanimous approval by the Senate. ResourceMFG (www.resourcemfg.com) division vice-president, Julie Maydew, is delighted to see that President Bush and Congress supported the America COMPETES Act which the President signed into law last month. "It is great to see our legislators put partisanship aside and work together for worthwhile goals such as the investment in education and innovation," noted Maydew.

Manufacturing is the sole focus of ResourceMFG allowing a better manufacturing workforce. ResourceMFG understands that it takes good people to get good results.
