Nokia N73 - Now be Ready to Shoot & Play

By: Caitlin Lucy

As one of the leading manufacturers of high quality camera phones, Nokia has surely carved a niche in the market. Its entire 'N-series' offers smart phones that also provide high quality imaging experience. And the newest addition to the lot is Nokia N73. A powerhouse of multimedia features, the phone stands tall with a 3.2 Mega pixels camera /camcorder and more internal memory. In addition to it, Nokia N73 also offers music playback, Blue tooth, extra-long talk time, and a number of productive tools based on the Symbian OS platform.

The phone is fairly sleek measuring 4.3 inches x 1.9 inches x 0.7 inches. It is designed in an attractive candy-bar style, and comes in two stylish colour schemes: frost white/ metallic red and silver/ deep plum. Nokia N73 has a solid construction and is comfortable to hold in the ear, while talking. The texts and images appear bright and sharp, when viewed through its high resolution TFT screen. Texts are also readable in direct sunlight. Not to forget to mention, you can change the display theme and back light time. To store all the multimedia files, Nokia N73 is enabled with mini SD expansion slot at the bottom.

The camera lens is located on the back, protected by a cover. To activate the camera simply slide the cover. The screen automatically adjusts to a landscape mode and acts like a viewfinder. With a camera capture key and zoom keys, Nokia N73 looks quite like a digital camera. Though the phone lacks any self portrait mirror, it offers something more desirable - a second camera located just above the screen in upper right hand corner. Nokia packages the Nokia N73 with most basic accessories. It includes an AC adapter, USB cable, a stereo headset, a wrist strap, a wipe cloth, Nokia PC suite software and reference manual.
