Peter Schmidt is one of the outstanding designers in theworld today. “Rediscovering the essentials," this designer from Hamburghas enabled the German porcelain maker to create the perfectset of dishes for the professional setting: Form 2006. The circle and squareset the tone for this design, and their playful contrast creates tension andharmony simultaneously. Round plates with square surfaces, round cups withsquare handles, rectangular dishes,porcelain for every day, practical yet atthe same time unique.

This is a lovely Art Deco influenced creamer and sugar bowlmade by Schonwald in Arzberg Bavariaprobably during the 1920's. The creamer has 3 designs on it. The sugar bowl isdecorated front and back.
