Istanbul: Historically Modern

Very few cities in and around Europe have a long history. Berlin,  Lisbon,  Paris, Cairo and some others  constitute the list of places with long history in Europe. Istanbul also joins the bunch because of its historical importance. This city lies on the straits connects the two continents Asia and Europe. History  of Istanbul is graced with such a recognition right from its beginning. It is the busiest town of Turkey and never sleeps like New York. While walking  across the Bosphorous bridge at midnigth or drive along the Bosphrous you will find this city really really awakened.

The city's population is 12 million.

From whichever side you step into the city you will find the horizon the scenery of the peninsula raising the skyline of the mighty mosques.  And it will really be an unforgettable moment for you. Approach to the city is very easy. You can choose to get into Istanbul through Yesilk√∂y by the airport bus or taxi or by train to the European train station Sirkeci or by ship through the Dardanelles.

Some other finest attractions play a great role in drawing the attention of tourist from all across the globe. You should have at least one week to visit all the sights in the city. Museums, parks, covered bazaar and many other places are there of you interests. The best period for visiting Istanbul is between May and  September. You should also not miss out on having a boat tour along the Bosphorus, zig zaging the cannel towards northScience Articles, all the way to Black Sea Asia Site (Anadolu Kavagi). You will find many castles and mansions on the way.
