What to take with you on an Alaska Cruise

By layering your clothes you can remain comfortable and warm at all times. Pack an appropriate amount of soap and shampoo for your needs. Don't expect the cruise company to provide anything better than you would expect in a hotel. If you don't like small bars of soap and a basic shampoo simply pack your own. Make sure you take enough toothpaste and lotions for the length of cruise and number of people traveling.

Take extra spending money for emergencies or if you want to dime out whilst in a port of call or for shopping. Don't take large amounts of cash it is advisable to take travelers cheques as these can be replaced, cash can't. Credit cards are widely accepted in Alaska.
