Widely known as the North's unofficial capital, Leeds is a lively place. It has a large population of nearly 450,000. In addition to its many residents, Leeds also attracts many business travellers & tourists.

It's a top city thanks to its many places of interest, lively nightlife & exciting opportunities for shopping.

Whether you're going by car or public transport, Leeds is simple to get to. It's well served by Leeds Railway Station, also known as Leeds City, and also boasts regular bus and coach links.

About Leeds

Leeds boasts a handful of stunning structures, including the beautiful Corn Exchange, which was designed by Broderick in 1864. This gorgeous building is now an alternative shopping centre & it's grade I listed. In addition to its beautiful buildings, Leeds also boasts a handful of gorgeous park spaces & wonderful places of interest & historic sites.

Shopping Opportunities

If you want to do some shopping, Leeds is the perfect location to do it. The city boasts some wonderful shops to suit any budget including high-end shops such as Harvey Nichols and Louis Vuitton in the Victoria Quarter. However, you'll find high street shops in the city's Merrion Centre, too.

Stuff to Do in Leeds

If you'd rather spend your time in Leeds doing more artistic pursuits, you will be pleased to know that the city has nine fantastic museums & art galleries. These include the Armley Mills Industrial Museum & the wonderful Henry Moore Institute, so you are sure to find something to entertain you.

If fast-paced city life gets too much, you will be pleased to know that Leeds has some pretty green spaces & stunning parks, which include the award winning Millennium Gardens. These pretty gardens were constructed at a cost of ?12 million to celebrate the millennium & were jointly funded by Leeds city council & the Millennium Commission.

Leeds Nightlife

Lastly, any tourist passing by Leeds should make sure that they experience its night life. With wonderful restaurants, exclusive bars and amazing clubs, you'll have an out of this world evening there. Needless to say Leeds has a massive gay community, so you’ll find lots of gay bars in the city, too.

After the clubs close, why not head to one of the city's deluxe hotels for a great rest? There's some exciting hotels in the city, which includes Quebecs, so you'll be spoilt for choice.
