Officially public nudity on southeast Asian beaches just isn't allowed. However, there are exceptions to some beaches and private resorts.
Nudist Beaches in Southeast Asia
1. Vietnam
- Red River’s Middle bank, Hanoi, Vietnam
Located at the foot of the Long Bien Bridge, this “beach” has two zones, with the number of “nude-bath members” up to hundreds of people in summer days. This alluvial bank has long been a favorite place for having nude baths. It is different from other sites for nude baths in the world because it is open-air. 2. Thailand
Nudism was illegal in Thailand. If you go naked on a public beaches in Thailand you will probably get arrested and it could end up expensive. Nudity is allowed on private resorts;
- Leela Beach, Koh Phangan, Thailand
This party island in Southeastern Thailand is also home to a gorgeous nudist beach. Despite its small size, the sandy white shore and palm fringed background make Leela Beach a perfect sanctuary to chill out, and also to attain that flawless tan. Also, don’t be surprise if you see naked men casually practising yoga in the middle of the pristine sands.
- The Oriental Village, Chiang Mai, Thailand

4) Philippines
Public nudity is illegal in the Philippines and is not tolerated. However nudism is allowed in private beach resorts.

5) Bali
No officially nude public beaches exist in Bali, though many tourists go topless on public beaches. In reality it is technically illegal.

Some tourist has gone nude in Kuta Beach & Uluwatu Beach. If you risk public nudity on these or other beaches, do so on the less-populated western and eastern ends of the island.
