Antigua carnival is a good example of how a festival can unite the whole world. Its the reflection of traditions and beliefs typical for one small country. Once a year for ten days local people put their business away to celebrate a stunning holiday.

Antigua and Barbuda, the twin islands, are renowned for their wonderful coastal line with about 365 white sandy beaches. Independently from what point you are standing at, you can enjoy picturesque bay or a harbour. Located 1425 miles south-east of Miami and 4000 miles south-west of Britain, Antigua and Barbuda have an all-year-round warm and pleasant tropical climate and cool trade winds. And its in this heavenly place that a unique event, a carnival, is waiting for you. Pleasant music performed by professional musicians, colourful costumes, Party Monarch and Calypso Monarch competitions all this guarantees that every visitor will be satisfied with the party.

Another event, Trinidad and Tobago Carnival is the greatest show on earth and the best holiday of the universe. Its the time of good music, bright costumes, lots of fun and entertainment.

This carnival is an excellent opportunity to spend your vacations dancing by inflammatory rhythms, watching beautiful performances and enjoying delicious Caribbean cuisine. Holiday organizers guarantee an unforgettable experience. The merriest part of the carnival is its Masquerade, which makes it a large-scale event. Its a true art and the form of human self-expression since each participant does his best to make his costume as unique as he can. Lots of strength, time and money is spent to make each costume, so if usually people spend money to see the show, here money is spent if you want to take part. One of the most interesting parts of the carnival is Dimanche Gras, when king and queen of the show are chosen.

The festival of noise orchestras is no less attractive. Steelpan is the only acoustic instrument that was invented in the 20th century. And it was Trinidad and Tobago that introduced it. The islands national orchestra consists of 120 musicians and 400 instruments. Its performances are an impressive thing to see, accompanied by stunning music sounds. If you are a singer or a musician, you can also participate in the event application form should be sent in advance. And of course, the culmination is the last day of the festival (usually its Sunday). This is the day when all the people of importance politicians, managers and businessmen gather at one place. To get to the event, buy a ticket in advance. The ticket is rather expensive, but you get an unlimited amount of drinks, snacks, music and fun.

All in all, the ten-day festival programme is very extensive. There are various parties, concerts, competitions etc. taking place every day at different spots. For instance, visit soca music festival the islands insomnia which lasts for 12 hours. Or, take part in a competition for the most interesting hatFree Web Content, which you have to wear all day long. Winners get prizes.
