iBiza is only 45 km long and 25 km wide, and has a year round population of 100000. This of course goes up during the season, when many seasonal workers and tourists arrive. Most of the population is centered in and around the three major towns: Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia.
iBiza is one of a cluster of islands including Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera that make up the Balearic islands. They lie is Spanish waters and all make very popular holiday destinations not just for the people of Europe but those from further afield. Due to the amazing mix of nightlife beaches flora and fauna iBiza has to be one of the most fascinating islands in the world. Lying in the Western Med, iBiza is a small island 55miles of the east coast of Spain. It's only a two hour flight to iBiza from most cities in Europe. You can also get the ferry from mainland Spain either at Denia or Alicante. The ferry can take as little as two hours. |
