Izmir is the second most important port and the third largest city in Turkey. The palm lined promenades, avenues and green parks form a sweeping curve along a circular bay. You find the climate of Izmir exceptionally mild and many modern amenities pervades the entire city. There is no lack of hotels, restaurants and other important infrastructure.
