Festival of Trees

By: Gaylord Plams Resort And Spa

For nine magical days, the Orlando Museum of Art is transformed into a glittering holiday wonderland where trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses ignite holiday spirit. Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, the Festival of Trees is the museum's largest annual special event fundraiser during the Christmas holidays in Orlando.

A collection of full-scale holiday decorations, all put together by local designers, compose the heart of this festive extravaganza and include exquisite trees and hand-crafted gingerbread creations to complement the Christmas holidays in Orlando. Smaller wreaths and trees will be on display in the Deck the Halls area, and the Art on the Wall exhibit showcases original artworks by Central Florida artists, making this one of the premiere Orlando Christmas events.

Surrounding the feature displays is a special area called Candyland, where children are free to make crafts and even send Santa their wish list from the town post office to prepare for their Christmas holidays in Orlando! A variety of daily entertainment options will be presented that'll be sure to put any member of your family in the holiday spirit.

Along with the unforgettable holiday atmosphere the Festival of Trees provides, a number of special Orlando Christmas events are planned throughout the nine delightful days. Take part in the elegant opening night event, a black-tie affair called Patron's Gala, or conclude the fundraiser with the ever-popular Holiday Jazz Stroll on that final Friday. Dates, times and prices for all of these Orlando Christmas events are available at the museum.

General admission to the Festival of Trees is $10 for adults and $6 for children, with hours from 10am to 5pm. This unforgettable celebration of the Christmas holidays in Orlando will last from Saturday, November 10th through Sunday, November 18th.
