Water fuel cells technology can help your car running on watera

By: Linda Crowford

In the recent time, where oil prices are touching the sky, there has been the need for finding better option to oil to reduce thedependency upon oil and gas as much as possible. It is the undeniable fact thatthe present high oil prices are forcing almost all countries, including oilrich nations, to think for some other substitute like water fuel cells basedtechnology which would be helpful to run cars and even heavy vehicles on water.

The “water fuel cells" based concept is invention byAmerican Stanley Meyer, who claimed that water can convert the requiredcomponent elements to run the car, hydrogen and oxygen. In 1989, he designedthe device to produce hydrogen and oxygen from water using electricity, bymethod other than water electrolysis. Meyer, during his experiments, he claimedthat he could show how 1.6 liter Volkswagen dune buggy can be run on waterinstead of gasoline. Meyer had also demonstrated his skill for a station Action6 News and showed the estimation that only 22 US gallons (83 liters) of waterwere enough to travel from Los Angeles to New York.

However, many auto experts believe that Stanley Meyer’s inventionwas not “water fuel cells" in true sense but it would be more correct to nameit as "electrolytic cell"

In U.S., the concept of “water fuel cells" is picking upgreat momentum, as people are eager to know more about it. The concept is themixture of gasoline and water to generate enough propelling fuel to run the caron water. If this concept is widely used and auto manufacturers start producing“water fuel cells" technology based vehicles, billions of dollars could besavedPsychology Articles, the precious oil as natural resources could be saved for use of manyhundreds of years in future and we will live in more cleaner and healthierenvironment.

The recent trials of “water fuel cells" have shown veryencouraging results. This system is fully reversible and does not damage thecar anyway.
