When you get an older car, you may not understand what it will take to restore the interior until you are getting into it. Where are you going to get the auto parts that you will need for this job? What kinds of time are you looking at with them?
When you start on your interior work, you should have a plan in place so that you are able to get though it without having any trouble with it. This may include having the right auto parts handy for the job. You can take and go anywhere for your car interior auto parts, but why not go somewhere that you have been to before? You can check your local auto parts store for ideas on what you may need for your interior redo. This can be the auto parts that hook the interior to the ceiling as well as any brackets that you may need for your interior work. You may have to look at a different place for your interior fabric as well as the coverings for your seats. When you are going to have your seats covered, I would take the time to find someone to do it for you. This is because seats are very hard to get right and if you want your interior job to be right, you will have to have the seats just right too. The rest of the interior work you can probably do on your own. This is because it's not as hard to get the roof cover on the car as long as you are very carful with it. You may also be able to tackle the floor on your own. Just keep in mind that you have to do it right the first time so that you are not having to redo it later. Take some time and find the right auto parts for your job as well as the right people to do it, if you are not going to do any of it on your own. This can be a hard project if you are not all that experienced with interior work on a car. You can do it on your own, but be careful so that you can get it right the first time and not have to do it over again. This can be frustrating and you may not like it much. |
