There are many activities amateurs and professionals can enjoy at Goa.

There is much to enjoy. Each day in Goa can be full of adventure. Water sports can be relished in not just the sea but the rivers and lakes as well. Then again, one can also explore the land of Goa while trekking, hiking or river crossing in the air. One can also go for dolphin and crocodile spotting, island trips and the like. Many adventure and water sports operators make sure you have a great time as they look after your safety.

In the water sports category, one can indulge in beach parasailing and winch parasailing. Sinquerim, Calangute and Candolim are the perfect places to really get a kick out of parasailing. These activities can also be enjoyed at the Mobor and Miramar beaches. Look out for the abundant marine life as you enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling. Other water sports at Goa that one can indulge in are dinghy sailing, river cruising, catamaran sailing, speed boat rides, water skiing, wind surfing, knee and wake boarding, jet skiing and angling. Another exhilarating water sports in Goa to have recently made a splash is microlite flying, which involves gliding on a motorised machine with a forty feet wing span. So easy, even amateurs can do it, no knowledge of gliding is required. This fun water sports activity can be enjoyed at Calangute Beach.

Being a versatile tourist destination, adventure sports in Goa are not restricted only to its beaches and rivers. Apart from rock climbing and river crossing, one can enjoy rappelling and jummaring also. Rappelling is descending a rock with the rope and harness and jummaring is ascending a rock using the toothed metal clamp. All these put together are often known as hiking and trekking.

Go karting and dolphin and crocodile spotting can also be enjoyed at Goa. Goa is not just the "Pearl of the Orient" but also a rocking haven for adventure lovers who can't get enough of an adrenaline rush!
