Isiah Tomas is an Embarrassment for the Knicks

By: Cindy Ferguson

The New York Knicks man in charge, Isiah Tomas, is no longer a big fan of the NBA or the team and is now most likely to be without a job, that is of course unless James Dolan, the team's owner, decides to save him once again.

Tomas just lost a sexual harassment case involving Anucha Browne Sanders -who was happy to leave the courtroom triumphant- and where he was very much conceited and arrogant in giving his testimony and didn't seem very worried with the law suit. He also made some very racist remarks while making his statements. His tranquility probably comes from his acknowledgement that Dolan always saves the day for him and that has many very disturbed.

Now David Stern is the man to step up and see if someone will finally take care of the shame being caused to the league by such a prospect. Stern, as well as many others, think the same in the sense that many players are suspended for a minimum of ten games if they are caught smoking marijuana and for a person in charge of a team to be found guilty of sexual harassment is much more of a serious matter to deal with, especially taking into consideration that he should be setting an example for players instead of committing offenses himself.

The fear of many is that if no actions are taken many will feel they can get away with similar situations and Tomas' case will definitely leave a door open for further approaches. Not to mention the embarrassment and the way he walks around thinking he is untouchable.

Everything now lies in the hands of Stern, who will have to deal with the circumstances; while many have their hopes up that someone will finally do something about all the arouses caused by Tomas over the years.
