The Best Walking Shoes

By: Beatrice Stephenson

There's a lot of walking shoes on the market and it can sure take a bit of research to get the most bang for your buck. So what should you think about when it comes to buying walking shoes for yourself? One important thing is to get a good fit, choose carefully and on both feet so that you know you will get the best possible fit. They should be steady to walk with but yet light weighted. Depending on the climate you are in, you will need to think about having shoes of Gore Tex or any other water resistant material.

That's about it. There's shoes with more advanced features as in built cushions, that are usually very good for walking, but, then again, it depends on how much you are going to walk and how much you are prepared to pay.

There's a quite new invention on the market, called the Mbt shoe, that I have really fell for. These shoes was invented to prevent back pain and improve posture when walking with them. They are usually called "cellulite shoes" or "anti cellulite shoes" because of their ability to increase muscle activity with more than 10% and therefore works wonders for your bumps.

There has been a lot of research done on them and they are used by many physicians and orthopedists for rehabilitation and to prevent injuries. They have also been widely discussed because of their quite clumsy look, but I don't really think they are that bad at all. They don't look as clumsy as some people claim.
