Tip number 1 - Complex carbohydrates are the key. Let me explain what this is shall I? For instance, a good old fashioned baked potato is very high in complex carbohydrates. You need to avoid foods with high protein and high fat content and potatoes are perfect to help you lose weight naturally. Chicken is also good and of course extra vegetables and fruits will help you shed those pounds. Eating foods in their natural state or condition will help you to digest them quicker.

Fizzy drinks, fruit juices and of course sweets are all foods with simple carbohydrates. Your body turns these into glucose and then into fat, so avoid them as much as possible.

Tip number 2 - Understand there is a big difference between "low fat" and "no fat" food. You should actually eat more "no fat" than "low fat" foods when trying to lose weight naturally, but of course it does not mean you can eat all you want. It is calories that will make you overweight so always eat in moderation and remember if you eat too much of "no fat" or "low fat" foods, you will pile on those pounds once more.

Tip number 3 - Remember when you were told that eating between meals is bad for you? Well, when you are trying to lose weight it is actually one of the best things you can do. Obviously you need to ensure you are not stuffing tons of sweets and high fat foods into yourself, you simply eat a small snack like whole grain bread or a fibre rich snack. Eating snacks between meals will keep your hunger at bay and stop you from lining on mountains of food when you next eat.

You must also realize that losing weight naturally will not be easy. You need to monitor what you eat and always be careful of those danger foods that can throw you right off track. You will still need to exercise of course so stay determined and motivated.
