If you are one of those people, that have tried all the fad diets and miracle pills yet still are unable to lose weight. Have you ever asked this question: "What am I doing wrong?"
The answer to that question, is dieting! Dieting can help you lose weight is a big fat (pun intended) lie!

There is much truth in that quote. There's the grim reality for you, the only outcome of dieting will have you meet your maker (sooner or later). What happens when you diet is this, you eat very food, when your body do not get enough food it goes into 'starvation mode', and when operating in this mode, your body stores fat instead of what you want it to do. That is burn all that fat!
Let us see how this happens: when you reduce your food intake a whole lot, your body gets scared, it thinks there must be a famine going on. Being the smart alec that your body is, it decides that since there is a scarcity of food, it better well be saving what it's getting. The only way it knows how to store it for use as energy later is to store it as fat! So in reality, while your body is having a mind of its own and storing all that fat for the 'famine' you are experiencing, you are left wondering why you still gain weight even though you eat less than your hamster. In its eagerness to build up its stockpile of fats, your body then finds other 'fuel' to burn to give you energy. Its thinking, "Fat is for storing, what should I burn? Those muscles look pretty tasty!", and burns that! Yes, when you diet by eating less, you lose lean muscle. Don't be shocked when you are suffering from fatique and have less energy 1-2 weeks into your 'diet'. Now, that is the total opposite of what you are trying to achieve.
Yet another lie about weight loss tells you that you are fat because of your genes, which is to say you are born this way and you cannot help it. What a big fat lie! Genes do not make you fat, it determines your hair color, your skin tone, etc. If you continue to blame your genes and eat unhealthy food, there can only be one outcome. You become fat!
If you have the focus and the desire to take action, that will result in weight loss. Do not believe in the genes make you fat lies. The media probably wants you to believe it, so that they can sell you some 'miracle pills' that will make you lose weight.
Do remember this, the only thing that can work against your weight loss goals is a negative mindset. So unless you change your mindset into a positive one today, you cannot reasonably expect to lose weight successfully. Be positive and see positive results coming your way!
