With Valentine's Day just around the corner, now might be a good time to start focusing on your body. You know you've been thinking about it. The candlelight dinner, the wine and chocolates and then, faster than you can pop the cork on a bottle of champagne you'll be heading to the bedroom.

Whether you've picked it out yourself or your significant other buys it for a Valentine's Day surprise you can be sure you'll probably end up wearing some teeny, tiny, barely there, see-through piece of lingerie. Wearing lingerie is like a special event. It doesn't happen very often, so when it does you want to look your best.

We've come up with a few tips to help you look your sexiest this Valentine's Day.

1.Say no to sweets, at least until you get some from your honey on Valentine's Day. Not only will it help you trim down, but you'll find you have more energy when you're not running on sugar.

2.Eat smaller meals more often. This will prevent you from snacking on unhealthy choices and will fuel your body all day long.

3.Don't give in to fad diets. As tempting as it may sound to follow a diet which promises a quick fix, it's not going to help you in the long run. If you want to get a body that sizzles in and out of the bedroom, you need to make getting in shape a lifestyle change.

4.Start exercising; even if it's just a quick walk around the block once a day. Regular exercise will not only tone up your body for that little black dress in the back of your closet, but it'll also help you feel energized and more confident to strut your stuff.

5.Drink plenty of water. Drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water can help with weight loss as hunger pangs are actually the first sign of thirst. Not to mention, water can help flush out your digestive system and help you get that great-looking hair, skin and nails you desire.

As you can see it doesn't take too much effort to get that sexy body you want just in time for Valentine's Day. Remember, that your sweetie already thinks you're fabulous and loves the way you look in lingerie, but these tips can help you flaunt what you got with confidence!
