"Tundra Prove It!" Tour lets drivers discover truck right on their hands, while "proving" its top-of-the-line capabilities.

On July 20 to 28, Toyota is bringing its nationwide tour, "Tundra Prove It!" to the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. It is designed to provide consumers with a firsthand opportunity to experience the all-new 2007 Toyota Tundra. The "Tundra Prove It!" showcases powerful and rugged capabilities of the vehicle.

The tour was launched in February in Orlando, Fla. at the Bass Pro Shops and International Home Builders' show. It is traveling across the country visiting about 350 markets through 2007. This tour is giving attendees the chance to put Toyota's all-new Tundra through a number of real-world interactive challenges, letting the truck prove that its capabilities like acceleration, payload capacity, towing capacity and braking are entirely top-of-the-line. Driving courses with several real- life situations for the drivers to test out the Tundra include a demonstration of the Tundra's automatic limited slip differential, an "acceleration run" to demonstrate the speed of the 5.7-liter v8 engine and its six-speed automatic transmission, and a "braking zone" to demonstrate one of the best braking systems in its class, with and without load.

Brian Smith, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A.'s corporate manager for truck operations said that Tundra Prove It! is something distinctive for Toyota. He added that this program does not just put consumers behind the wheel, but it also lets them test the truck in such a way that they will really use it.

To roll out the new Tundra, Toyota has collaborated with some of the best known brands in the industry. To reach the true audience for the all-new Tundra, "True Truckers", Bass Pro Shops, 84 Lumber and Tractor Supply Company have all supported and joined forces with Toyota on Tundra Prove It! The 150-stop tour will visit a wide list of locations and events all over the country that includes Daytona Speed Week, AMA Supercross events, 84 Lumber stores, Bass Pro Shops locations, and the Star of Texas Rodeo in Austin to name just a few.
