San Diego has always been an important city, from it's early days as a Spanish outpost to its pivotal role in the Mexican American war, this has always been an area of high activity. This area has long served as a base of operations for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The area has been undergoing a number of upgrades and an urban renewal since the 1980's. So what makes this a good area to relocate to? Well, for starters there is the fact that San Diego has great weather all year-round and is right on the beautiful Pacific Ocean is a fantastic place to start. San Diego is also extremely close to sun and fun of Mexico and the diverse culture of Tijuana.

But there are more reasons than that to consider San Diego.

The local economy is thriving and has it's base in the bio-tech industry. This city is also home to a few industry giants like Qualcomm, Merck and Pfizer. This speaks of a great industrial core that translates into secure jobs for workers in San Diego. In addition this area is a famous vacation destination as people from all over flock to Southern California every year. There is also a bustling pot here like many coastal cities.This enables San Diego to act as a stopover point for cruise ships as well as a major player in the shipping picture of this country.

San Diego feature a wide selection of housing styles and choices that will impress any buyer. from amazing high-rise condos to single family homes and everything in between is available in this area. The city is also served by a great school system and there are numerous post-secondary education options that are available. Real estate here has seen a real growth spurt over the past few years and as such real estate in San Diego is inherently valuable. With such a great number of homes here is will not be difficult to find that one that is right for you today!
