Gilbert Named Forth Safest City In The U.S.

The FBI yearly report on crime statistics has been published. Gilbert, Arizona has been ranked the forth-safest city in the United States.

It is no wonder that Gilbert and the surrounding Phoenix metro area is a favorite for family relocation.Singles, retirees and families have made Gilbert home in recent years due to its award winning public school systems, thriving businesses, job opportunities, shopping, dining and entertainment centers, cultural centers and unbelievable recreational options and it is these new residents that have made this city so safe.

Very well planned residential developments characterize the housing that are available in Gilbert. Gilbert is home to some gated communities with large estate properties and mini ranches; many of which are zoned for equestrian usage, which is popular here. Horse riding trails are located everywhere and are used heavily.

There are many older, modern single-family home neighborhoods with wide avenues, beautifully landscaped tree lined streets and walking trails, parks, recreation and picnic areas.

The FBI Top Ten List was determined from information obtained in initial reports submitted by 265 police departments in different cities. The reports tracked statistics on violent crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault and it also included indexed property crimes such as larceny, burglary, and car theft.

7.Glendale, California located on the northeast corner of Los Angeles, close to Pasadena.
8.Provo, Utah is located in Utah County close to Salt Lake City.
9.Bellevue, Washington is located in King county, close to Seattle
10.Simi Valley located in Ventura County in Southern California
