The Location

The Canang Sari Villas are located on a private hilltop, overlooking the ocean and southern Bali with all its magic volcanoes; Batukaru, Bedugul, Batur and Gunung Agung. The beautiful beaches of Bingin, Impossible, Padang-Padang, Balangan and Dreamland are all conveniently close by. Also close to Canang Sari is the sacred and famous Hindu hilltop temple of Uluwatu. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of tourist beaches like Kuta, then Canang Sari Villas is the right place for you. Nusa Dua, where most of Bali’s 5-Star hotels are located, is about 15 minutes’ drives from Canang Sari. The airport is a 20-minute ride and just a little bit further is Kuta and Seminyak for endless shopping and energetic nightlife.

The Villas

There are three two-bedroom villas and one four-bedroom villa, called Villa Melati, Villa Jepun, Villa Merak, and Villa Akasia; all of them guarantee you privacy and un-obstructed panoramic ocean views. The villas are beautifully furnished by a leading European designer and all have a remarkable Balinese touch. All but one of the bedrooms is air-conditioned, but you might not wish to use them at all because of the refreshing perennial Bali breeze. The king-size beds are surrounded by fine white mosquito nets, and the colorful bed sheets are made of hand-woven cotton. Our mattresses are premium quality to ensure that you have a peaceful and comfortable holiday sleep. All our villas have large living areas that include most of the same amenities offered by 5-Star hotel suites. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen. If you wish to cook for yourself you are welcome to do so and one of our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

However, to guarantee you a relaxing and enjoyable holiday our chef will be happy to prepare you many delicious dishes in our own kitchen. In your private villa you will find a menu with a selection of local and international dishes with reasonable prices. Three of our villas have an outside barbecue and pizza oven. These areas are ideal for small to medium size parties. Our chef and staff will be happy to organize unforgettable evenings for you, your family and friends. Each villa also has its own big private swimming pool. To make sure the water causes no irritation and is kind to your skin we use a salt chlorinator that requires minimal chemicals to maintain a natural and healthy balance. Shared by all villas is a beautifully designed air-conditioned fitness center equipped with an exercise bike, benches and a selection of free-weights. This center can also be used for large functions, seminars or meetings.

Our staff is polite and well trained. The food is excellent and the location is superb. For all these reasons, many of our guests repeatedly stay at Canang Sari Villas. Guest Services

Wonderful food

We provide you with an excellent cook who can create delicious western and Indonesian dishes. The staff at the villas have also been trained by the owner to prepare fresh pizza dough and, with reasonable notice, can easily set up a pizza party, which can be complemented by succulent salads and home made dressings. The dining tables in all four villas can seat up to 10 people and there are extra tables available to extend the seating capacity to cater for large dinner parties.

Meals are prepared in a central kitchen and served by our staff in your villa. Alternatively, food can be cooked in your own kitchen so you can observe and pick up a few tips or make suggestions to the cook while you savor the aroma of the sizzling spices and fresh herbs. There are several restaurants in the vicinity, the closest being only a 6 minute drive and the world class hotels and restaurants of Nusa Dua and Seminyak are only a short drive away.

Entertainment

Satellite television in every villa gives global access to more than 30 channels, including many movie channels, in several languages. In addition there are DVD/VCD/CD players for watching films and listening to your favorite music. There is a large number of films available and the collection is constantly being updated. You can be sure that whatever you want to see, there is a very good chance that it is available.

The Garden

The villas are set in a huge garden that has many shady places to sit, relax and enjoy the views. There is a proliferation of fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on the estate including papaya, mangoes and lemons. Many of the salad ingredients, herbs and flavorings used by the cooks are picked daily from the garden to ensure freshness.

Nightlife

While the estate was designed for seclusion and tranquility, it is conveniently located only 20 minutes’ drive from the airport with the shops and nightlife of the fashionable Seminyak and Sanur districts just a little further. A short drive in the opposite direction will take you the world class hotels & restaurants of Nusa Dua, which has also become a favorite destination for water sports enthusiasts.

Security

We cannot ignore the tragic event which occurred in Kuta in October 2002 and many of our potential guests will want to be reassured on the safety aspect. While no one can guarantee absolute safety anywhere in the world, the secluded location of Canang Sari Estate makes this one of the safest places in Bali. Additionally, a team of trained security personnel contributes to the well being of our guests.
