The major fixtures in a home is one of the first things that a prospective buyer will notice, if the lighting looks like something out of a 70's movie you may want to consider an update. Lighting can be a real conversation piece, especially for the major rooms like kitchens and living rooms. Try to sync the look of these fixtures with your furniture and decorations and the room will seem much more complete.

Buyers like seeing new fixtures of any kind in a home, so taking the time to replace all the lights in your home bodes well for a quicker sale and more impressed viewers.
