The residential area of Sin Ming is a mix of HDB flats and luxury condominiums ( Flame Tree Park, Fulton Hill, The Gardens At Bishan, The Inglewood, The etc).

Industrial Area
Like Queenstown and Leng Kee districts, Sin Ming is chock-full with auto-related industries, i.e., Vicom Vehicle Inspection Centre, Fastrax Motorsport, Independent Damage Assessment Centre, Sin Ming Autocare etc. Citicab and Comfort taxi companies also have their offices here.

Dining
You can find cheap local fares at almost every HDB nooks. For a wider variety though, the Imperial Thomson Court offers a long list of international cuisines. The Imperial Thomson Court, located next to Thomson Community Centre, also houses beauty parlours and a Cold Storage.
