Just like the other seasons, fall and winter would usually call for a whole new wardrobe. However, for those people who are on a budget, you could still stand out and be stylish and trendy. With your stylish fashion sense and a clever mix of what you already have paired with just a couple of new pieces, you can surely achieve a great look that could even last through the spring and summer. Here are the seven pieces that you could get to use with your old pieces.
1. A good pair of skinny jeans. You could also go for a nice pair of jeans that are slim-cut for a sexy look, as they hug your hips and legs. Jeans never go out of style and second-skin jeans would always beat the baggy one particularly if you have the body for them.
2. A dress, which you could wear to show off your girly side. You could probably get a stylish jersey dress, as it drapes well and could easily flatter the female form.
3. A pretty top that could be worn with jeans and skirts, either on its own or with a vest.
4. A trench coat. You could wear one over an entire outfit and then belt it. Trench coats are classic fashion staples. They can easily give a sultry image.
5. A wool vest that could be worn over your top and jeans, or with a skirt or probably over a dress to achieve a preppy look. It would also keep you warm.
6. A skirt, which drapes well.
7. A fabulous belt. There is no better way to cinch you waist than with an attractive belt.
Bold lip and eye colors are perfect for fall seasonal events and holiday parties. And vibrant make-up will offset the darker, heavier clothing often found in your fall/winter wardrobe. So, be fearless with color, but be careful not to go overboard" cautions Harrington as her next makeup tip.
"A bold eye or a bold lip is the perfect accessory for the fall," said Harrington. "Pick a feature to define: bright, bold colors like berry tones, plums and reds are perfect for lips and deep shades such as indigo, onyx and charcoal will make the eyes really stand out are some other makeup tips to consider for transition into our next season.""This is the time of year where you can try new things while defining your best features. Be creative and have fun with color," said Harrington. "With bright, bold colors, you can make a statement."
Berry-toned colors usually work for all skin tones, but if you are not sure which colors will look best on you and if you don't usually wear makeup.
"Accentuate one feature: Pick either your eyes or lips. If you heavily define both features, it will look overwhelming and unnatural" states Harrington. There is no need to be heavy on the blush either when there is emphasis on your eyes or lips, but a touch of bronzing powder on your chin, forehead and cheek will give a nice sun-kissed look that is perfect year-round, said Harrington in her next makeup tip.
