[H62]Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas

One of the finest gifts that you can give to anyone you love is something that you have made yourself. Merge that with one of the most well-liked presents like personalized pictures, and you have a great combination. Parents and grandparents mainly love getting pictures as a Christmas gift, and they also love handcrafted items because they know how much time, effort, and interest you invested into creating that gift for them. They also see it as a gift created with love, and they have a propensity to treasure it for many years to come. Combining pictures with handcrafted items is fairly simple to do, and it's rather economical as a gift giving idea too.

The basic way to give a picture of the gift is to simply choose one of your most-loved photos, have it printed, add some handmade touch, and set it into a nice frame.

Make a collage of pictures. Choose the size of your pictures, so that you'll know how many photos you can squeeze into that area. Have them printed in different sizes. Then select a plain piece of wood the size of the frame you wanted for your photos. You may also choose from a scrap pile if you have one at home. Make sure to have your wood smoothed down. Then, arrange the photos squares on the wood in the order and style you prefer. You may do this on a piece of paper matching the size of your wood, that way you can organize and rearrange them as often as you need until everything fits properly. Afterwards, is to glue your pictures onto the wood in the order you have arranged them. Once you have all of your photos positioned, let the glue dry. Now all you need to do is coat a clear polish over the whole arrangement. The clear polish will have a feel of both the pictures and the wood as one piece.

A picture collage without the use of wood is also possible. You will only need a glue, paper or cardboard. Just simply cut out a piece of paper, or some cardboard in a size that will fit into the frame of your choice. Glue your pictures using arrangement you would like on the cardboard or paper you've chosen then insert it into a standard photo frame.

Collage pictures are brilliant when you want to put photos together of several family members into one. They can also be used to show a range of stages of life for a person. You can include pictures from their preschool, elementary, junior high, and high school years. Or you could fashion a collage which features several activities they've done all throughout the years.

Making these simple handcrafted Christmas gift ideas only takes a little creativity and imagination to complete. We don't have to spend lots of money just to give something to our family, friends, and loved-ones. Though there are inexpensive gift items that we could buy in malls or novelty shops, nothing beats the handcrafted personalized ones.
