WHY USE RSS FEEDS?
1. Fresh content is fed into your lens frequently, without you doing a thing.
2. Squidoo won't even list your lens until you have four or more modules. That is, 4 blocks of information on your page. Writing several short articles is a great way to help achieve that. Adding an RSS feed is an easier way.
WHERE DO YOU GET RSS FEEDS FROM?
Today almost every online publisher and blogger provides a feed so you can publish their stuff on your site. You would have seen those orange XML rectangles and the square orange RSS logos. The links under those symbols are RSS feeds.
If all you want is something relevant to your lens, then here is the code for a Yahoo News feed about Seth Godin, the creator of Squidoo:
Just change [seth+godin] to [your+three+keywords] or [keyword]. Without the brackets, naturally.
