[D307]Difference Between Quality Assurance And Quality Control
by Rose Ybarra, Ros

Today's world is filled with a vast array of different types of people. It used to be that you could very easily decipher the difference between an honest man and a liar. In my experience, it is not so easy anymore. I have seen some very tragic things take place in my time; most of which have to do with dishonest people ripping off honest people.

As a result of my experience with a home painting contractor, I have decided to publish this article with the intention of helping the honest man (hopefully you) avoid the dishonest man.

Let's begin with identifying some of the traits of a scam contractor.

Under or Over Priced

The first thing that will be a dead give away is pricing. Typically, a scam contractor will be at one extreme or the other as far as pricing is concerned. Also, they will usually quote you without doing a whole lot of investigation as it relates to how much work will be required to do a bang up job on your home.

If they are operating on the left extreme, they will offer an extremely low rate. The rate will appear as if they might even be loosing money on the job. You will probably wonder how they can do the job for such a low price. Well, the answer is that they can do the job for such a low price because they do not plan on doing the job like a seasoned veteran would. You are getting what you pay for.

Now, if they operate from the right hand extreme, the quoted price will seem very unreasonable. It will probably seem as if they are over charging you and chances are they probably are. In most cases, they will have a hard time justifying the cost. It will seem as if they are making things up in order to do so.

Let's look at the 2nd red flag now.

Time line

A scam contractor will usually give you a time line that appears very fast. This is because they are more interested in quantity rather than quality. They are trying to get as many jobs done in as short a time span as possible.

More money! Home painting contractors get paid by the job. So, the more jobs they can do, the more money they get paid.

The True Home Painting Contractor

Now that we have identified the 2 major red flags to look for in a scam artist, let's pay some mind to what you can expect to see from an honest professional.

1. Quality Time

The first thing that you will notice about an honest professional is that they will exhibit a focused interest toward what you are really looking for. They will spend quality time on the appraisal and you will notice that they actually put effort into their investigation.

2. Reasonable Quote

The most important thing that you will notice from an honest house painting contractor is that the quote that you receive from them will appear to be very reasonable. It will certainly not be the cheapest quote; however, it will not be the most expensive either. They will also be able to clearly justify all of the costs.

A Helpful Tip

The most important thing that you can remember to do when searching for a home painting contractor is to follow your intuition. If the person you are dealing with gives you a bad feeling, keep searching until you find one that your intuition says you can trust.

Remember, it's your money. You get to choose where you spend it!

Are you looking to purchase an aquarium for your fish? Whether this is your first-time purchasing an aquarium or if you have purchased an aquarium before, you will have a number of important decisions to make. One of those decisions involves the type of aquarium that you would like to purchase. Once you start searching for an aquarium to purchase, you will find that you, literally, have an unlimited number of options to choose from. In fact, you may have so many options that it may seem as if it is going to be difficult or impossible to make a decision!

When purchasing an aquarium, there are three important factors that need to be taken into consideration. Those three factors include the type of fish that you would like to own, the style of the aquarium that you would like to purchase, as well as quality. Perhaps, the two most important factors are quality and the type of fish that you would like to own. To get started, it may be best to examine the type of fish that you would like to purchase. For example, are you interested in purchasing saltwater fish, tropical fish, or freshwater fish? It is also important to examine the size of the fish that you would like to purchase. After all, the size that your fish can grow to be will have an impact on the size of your aquarium.

As stated above, it is also important to examine quality. Unfortunately, when it comes to purchasing a fish tank, there are number of individuals who make a costly mistake. That mistake is believing that all fish tanks are created equal. The reality is that they are not. For example, two popular types of fish tanks include glass fish tanks and acrylic aquariums. It has been proved that acrylic aquariums weigh less, are clearer, and are stronger than glass aquariums. While their cost may be higher than that of a traditional glass aquarium, the extra cost is always worth it, in the long run because of the quality. That is why it is important that you examine quality and make a decision based on that, rather than solely on the price of an aquarium.

The type of aquarium that you would like to purchase is another important factor that you should take into consideration. When choosing the type of aquarium that you would like to purchase, it is important to keep the above mentioned quality in mind. Glass and acrylic aquariums come in a number of different sizes, shapes, and styles. In fact, there are some aquariums, such as rectangle aquariums or flat back hexagon aquariums that are made from both glass and acrylic. If you are looking for affordability upfront, a glass aquarium may be the way to go, but it is important to remember that the affordably is only upfront. Unlike glass aquariums, acrylic aquariums made by the most reputable manufacturers have a lifetime warranty. Accordingly an acrylic aquarium made by one of these manufacturers will last longer and have fewer problems that a glass aquarium.

As important as quality is, when choosing an aquarium, you may find it difficult to tell just by looking at an aquarium, especially if you are shopping online. To ensure that you are getting a quality product, you are advised to search for product reviews or customer feedback. You can do this by performing a standard internet search with the name of the particular fish tank you would like to purchase or with the name of the manufacturer who developed the tank. A large number of customers leave both positive and negative reviews when purchasing a product, including a fish tank. In fact, you may even want to do the same after you have received your fish tank. It may help make choosing an aquarium easier for someone else in the future.

By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should be able to find the perfect aquarium for your home or your office. As a reminder, it is also important to keep the type of fish that you want in mind, as well as the type of aquarium you want and the style.
