Your content that you provide must be of interest to the people you expect to be reading it. In fact, content may be the most important quality in composing an online article. You need to provide content that people are interested in and seeking. How to earn a second income is considered a safe topic being that there are over 20 million people researching this topic on a day to day basis on Google and other search engine websites. If you are writing an article about how to earn a second income, make sure you content reflects that. If you perform this aspect correctly, you can actually attract a following! People who benefit from your information will track you and refer their friends to you. You are now and asset to the site you are working with and well on your way to earning a second income.
Focus on SEO or search engine optimization for you article. The majority of programs that pay you to deliver articles to them should be ranked high on the major search engines like Google, yahoo, MSN, etc. Instead of creating your own website and attempting to build its own search engine page rating, why not jump onboard a page that is already optimized so you receive more traffic for your article? To gain back links for your own blog or website using such programs would not normally be possible.

The consumer gets a job done by a professional for a fraction of the normal cost of hiring maybe the same professional through the Company he or she works for. Add to this, the benefit of the moonlighter offering his or her services outside of normal business hours. ie no need to take time off work to wait for the washing machine engineer to call and fix your broken appliance.
The moonlighter gets an additional boost to his or her normal income.
Needless to say, there are risks associated with this practice, for both the moonlighter and the consumer.
From a Consumer point of view, if wishing to use the services of such a moonlighter, it makes sense to use only someone recommended or at the very least, ensure that he or she has suitable liability insurance cover for any unforeseen accidents etc.
The greatest risk however, is for that of the moonlighter.
Most employers, will take a very dim view of anyone carrying out or offering a service in the same field as which the moonlighter is employed by them. Anyone considering this route would do well to check their contract of employment to ensure that they do not breach the terms of this and which could lead to dismissal if found out. If in doubt ask!
Moonlighters should always make sure they have adequate liability insurance, to cover them against claims for accidental damage or even negligence etc.
