With so many popular candy bars on the market, from major brands like Hershey Chocolate to more obscure choices like Abba Zaba candy bars, it's hard to imagine a world without them. This type of candy has been around since the 1840s and now there are literally hundreds of different candy bars on the market. Any discussion about popular candy bars can't neglect to include Hershey Candy. This brand can be traced back to 1900 when Milton S. Hershey was determined to make the wonders of milk chocolate accessible to the general public rather than only the rich. He built a factory in the dairy land of Hershey, Pennsylvania and started pumping out candies in mass quantities. Now these are probably the most popular candy bars in the world, and they remain practically unchanged from the original recipe and choice of almonds or plain.

Candy bars are a part of modern life and everyone has their personal favorites. There are even candy bouquets made up of some of the more popular candy bars in arrangements that resemble floral displays. Thank goodness someone had the sense to put together cocoa powder, sugar and cocoa more than 150 years ago.
