Wow! If you've been investigating making money on line in any form, your definitely experiencing information overload. The problem seems to be the issues of connectivity and continuity. No, I don't mean being able to connect to the Internet via a service provider such as MSN or AOL, but connecting all the how to information, all the tools, and the actual tutoring in the implementation of these tools. Then there is a need for a continuing education just as you would receive in school. You start in the first grade, then the second, etc..
There are an abundance of guru's out there vying for your hard earned dollars that promise information and the excitement of earning lots of money. Like all professions in the world, some of these "teachers" are excellent, some are OK and some just should not be out there.
The problem then, is in hashing through all of these people and all of this information and deciding where to begin. There is no one place or person that is right. First you must decide what your niche in Internet marketing is going to be. Are you promoting an offline business, hoping to strengthen sales? Do you want to be an affiliate and sell other people's products? If so do you have a niche there? Maybe make money at home, Ebay, or selling other people's wares. Or do you have an idea or product of your own that your trying to promote?
After picking your niche the next step would be to find the expert and the successful entrepreneur in your market and learn from him or her. Google relevant search terms related to your choice and investigate who is continually successful. Buy their products but also see how they are actually doing it. Model yourself after them. Do what they do. Work your Internet business just as you would any offline business.
A common mistake that many newbies and even people in the business make, is information overload. They buy lots of new products from lots of different people and just get too many emails. If your getting emails from many different guru's and most all of these emails have links to product pitches or free information how can you focus on the really important, good content emails. Use the criteria we just talked about to focus on the relevant people and info relating to your needs. It is impossible to read all this information, some of technical, and actually implement it to get your Internet business going. Everybody has distractions in their life. Focus. Look to one or two experts for your information. Find the tools you need such as autoresponders, audio, video, webinars, calenders, etc. all in one place. This can save an enormous amount of time and money by itself. Not having to integrate the tools you need from different suppliers will eliminate a lot of frustration.
Simplify and stay focused. Have faith and take action every day.
