If you want to pick the best of anything, find reviews from someone who has been there and done that. So to Compare Web Hosting, we should be listening to someone with a history of web hosting to rely on. How about the views of a 10 year veteran of Internet Marketing, who has used a number of different services?

Here are the key areas to consider

* Support
* Resource Allocation
* Website Features
* Value for Money

Web Hosting Support
===================
One of the key areas for web hosting decision making is the area of support. Good support is critical if you want your web site to succeed. Not because the host will keep failing, but more when you want your site to do something and need help to do it.

WebSite Resource Allocation
===========================
A website requires two major resources to operate. Disk space and bandwidth. Disk space is the physical space required to store files on your web host's server. It is more easily calculated because you can work out how big the files are that you are uploading. Bandwidth is a monthly allocation of transfer space. In other words when your site is being used, it is how much time your server is held whilst information is being transferred.

Website Features
================
The website features can be chopped into two categories when you compare web hosting. One is the hardware being used for the server on which your site will be hosted. You want you site to be reliable of course, and having top hardware will help.

The second area is software capabilities, such as scripts. As time goes on you may want to enhance your site with the use of scripts such as cgi and php, so it is important that when you compare web hosts, you find out if you can run cgi and php scripts.

Value For Money
===============
At the end of the day, the value for money when you compare web sites is a balance of all the above three against how much you are being charged for the services on offer. This is often a matter of personal judgement, based on your own requirements.
