Going to college is getting prohibitively expensive. College textbooks are also getting more and more expensive as the years past. Even when the content in textbooks do not change, the textbook publishers have new editions for them. Cut down your textbook costs with these sites:
1) International TextBooks - (i.e. www.MyCollegeTextbooks.com) The savings on international edition textbooks are tremendous - at least 50%. That is $250 worth of savings based on average spending of $500 per semester. Savings are passed on to students because the textbooks have soft covers, but they have the same content. Just search for the textbooks using the ISBN. In addition, make sure that two weeks are allotted for shipping time because the textbooks are usually shipped from overseas.
2) Ebay's Half.com - At Half.com, the majority of books are used. Big discounts can be had with these used textbooks. Look for a seller with good feedback.
3) Ebay Store - The online auction marketplace is another good place to find textbooks. Prices are pretty good on Ebay. Similar to Half, a positive feedback rating for the seller is important. One thing to not is that some textbooks may not be available.
4) Amazon Store - Amazon is by far the biggest book seller. The variety of textbooks is unmatched. There are new and used textbooks. An added bonus is free shipping on orders $25 or greater. Rest assured that returns are super easy. Millions of happy customers will agree.
