[C546]Chelation Therapy Lead Poisoning
by Franchis, Fra
Chelation treatment is a normal way to detoxify the body of noxious substance and destructive metals. Chelation treatment involves the inoculation of ethylene thiamine tetra acetic acid (EDTA). It is a mean by which a natural material binds to minerals and ionized metals (electrically indicted) such as iron, calcium, lead, copper, etc.

The first use of Chelation is in Germany in 1930. A decade later, EDTA (ethylene thiamine tetra acetic) was utilized by some American personnel suffering from lead venomous. After several health studies, in 1950, Dr. Norman Clarke, executive of Providence Sanatorium in Detroit, Michigan, noted the therapy with EDTA, which can recover or reinstate physical condition from many ailments. These enhancements includes, but are not restricted to decrease in angina twinge, reduce skin ailments, loss and keeping a standard mass, reduce in heart disorders, developing reminiscence senses and necessity of the intelligence (sight, hearing, smell), improved vigor, etc.

In USA, the FDA as a therapy for lead venomous has permitted Chelation treatment with EDTA only. However, since heavy metals poisoning can be liable for major infections, in different treatment, it is used to treat heart infection, tumor, gangrene, thyroid turmoil's, various sclerosis, brawny dystrophy, psoriasis, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer's infection, and the enhancement of reminiscence, vision, perceive sound, and odor.

Chelation treatment and the Conservative Medication

In addition to the detoxification of the body, current technical studies in the conservative medication prove the optimistic results of chelation treatment in the healing of cardiovascular infections. However, many scientists yet disprove this innovation. In 2003, National foundation of physical condition has decided to take on a complete study for five years to review the efficiency of chelation treatment in more than 2 500 people surviving a heart assault. Since we are in 2008, the final year of this cram, very soon, we will have the effect. In the meantime, many patients persist to aver the reimbursement of chelation treatment in their life.

Chelation treatment and tumor

According to Journal of Advancement in Medicine, humanity from tumor was reduced 90% during an 18-year follow-up of 59 patients indulging with Calcium-EDTA. Only one of 59 treated patients died of tumor while 30 of 172 non-treated control subjects died of swelling. Demise from arteriosclerosis was also abridged. Treated patients had no indication of tumor.

Oral Chelation Therapy is just like the normal Chelation Therapy. The difference is just that in oral chelation therapy, the person intakes the chelating agent through his mouth. The other way is to intake the chelating agent through an injection which directly goes into the blood vessels. This way is more difficult than the oral chelation as some people might be afraid of the needle of the injection. In oral chelation therapy, the person just has to swallow the chelating agent and drink some water or any other fluid after it.

Chelation therapy is done to dissolve the toxic metals present inside our bodies. These toxic metals are present in the environment around us as a result of the by products of industries which pollute the atmosphere around us. The chelating agent that is taken by the person dissolves the harmful chemicals and metals present in our blood to form a more stable compound which does not react further with any of the chemicals and hence our body becomes safe as its reactivity becomes zero. These unwanted compounds are then passed out or discharged through the channel through which all the other waste products are passed.

EDTA is used as the most common chelating agent and that is why it is the most popular one also. The oral chelating agents clean the blood that is present in the veins and the arteries. This therapy helps the body in many ways. It normalizes the blood pressure of the blood flowing in our veins and arteries. It also increases the blood circulation and heart pumping rate. It also provides the various parts of the body with essential nutrients and adequate amount of oxygen which is required to carry out the processes required in our daily life. It also keeps the cholesterol level of the body to an appropriate level which in turn keeps the body free from fats and hence prevents heart failures.

EDTA is used as the most commonly used oral chelating agent because EDTA has an unusual ability to attract heavier particles or heavier molecules present in chemical compounds. It attaches itself to the heavier particles flowing in the blood in the blood vessels and forms a more stable complex compound. But EDTA falls under the category of amino acids, so the body discharges the complex compound with the other waste products in the form of excreta. The discharging of the amino acids along with the other wastes from the body is done by the kidney. It filters the body fluids and separates the wastes from the normal body fluids. Then this waste is discharged as excretion.
