[C91]Cancel An Ebay Auction

by Br Sankhla, Br

I Want to Change my Listing.

If you just want to revise your listing, you do not always need to end it. For listings that have more than 12 hours left to run and have not received any bids, you can revise almost everything into your listing. You can remove the Buy it Now price or reserve price, change the duration of the listing, or add listing upgrades.

If the listing already has one or more bids, then you can still add upgrades, or add to the description into your listing. You can add more pictures too, if you want to. For more details visit to www.auction-words.com. Once the listing gets into its last 12 hours, however, what you can do becomes far more limited, even if it has no bids, you can only really add to the description.

It is a very bad idea, by the way, to cancel one listing and ask bidders to bid on another listing for the same item instead. The chances are they will be annoyed with you, and would not bother.

The Item is No Longer for Sale.

Perhaps you sold the item to someone else, you lost it or it got broken. Whatever happened, if you no longer have the item to sell, you should remove your listing ? in fact, this is just about the only situation when eBay allow you to.

However, you need to make sure you get the listing removed quickly if you leave it to the last 12 hours, eBay will refuse to let you remove it, whatever has happened. For more details visit to www.auction-entrepreneur-kit.com. This might seem cruel, but it is there to stop people from backing out in the last few hours because they want to try again for a better price.

So How Do I End My Listing Early?

Now, be very careful. The option you almost certainly want to choose is ?Cancel the bids and end the listing early?, NOT ?Sell the item to high bidder and end the listing early?. You will be asked to choose a reason why you ended the listing, and then it will end. Your bidders will be emailed to let them know what happened.

Please note that ending a listing early because it looked like it was not going to get a good price is against the rules, and eBay could come after you and get upset.

Speaking of breaking the rules, if you are selling software on eBay, did you know that there are special rules that apply to you? Plenty of sellers have no idea, and are being caught out every day, that is why my next article will explain the rules clearly for you, just in case you need to know.

I received an email just now advertising a new product called Auction Inspector.

This is a brand new piece of software which scours eBay's "Want It Now" section for frequently repeated phrases and words, which indicate a potential market.

Auction Inspector also relates the demand with the number of replies from other sellers (the supply) to see whether the product has high potential as an untapped niche market.

It then ranks the search terms based on this "potential" (although you can also rank according to number of demands or number of replies, depending on your interest.) In short, Auction Inspector reveals hidden markets in the Want It Now marketplace. It can search eBay's US, Canada, Australia and U.K sites.

This software is fantastic. It helps you to find products that lots of people are wanting, but nobody is selling. If you sell on eBay or are considering starting an online business, you MUST have this product. If you're like me, you've probably already sold items on eBay but only made a meagre profit (if any!).

What if you could gain a real edge on the competition?
What if you could sell products that YOU KNOW people are desperately looking to buy?

Sounds interesting doesn't it?

Check it out. Visit:

There's more information about the software and they give you examples of potential niches they've uncovered using Auction Inspector. If you're into making money from eBay then you definitely want to check this out.

For a limited time the software is selling at a vastly reduced price (in return for your testimonial). This in itself is a selling point because the software designers are obviously expecting postitve responses.

All the best,
