Focaccia Hero Sandwich

The Focaccia Hero not only has a great name, but is delicious sandwich for those who are sick of the ol' peanut butter and jelly standby. You need a round load of Focaccia or Italian bread, a half a cup of Italian salad dressing, lettuce, sliced deli salami, American cheese, sliced turkey breast, tomatoes, and onions. Cut the bread into slices, spreading the salad dressing across the top and bottom. Then layer the rest of your ingredients in any way you wish. This is a full sandwich so make sure you have some toothpicks to hold your sandwich together, especially if you have a commute to work or school.

Almond Falafel

For this falafel you will need a small, diced eggplant, lamb, one tomato, salt, one cup of yogurt, Parmesan cheese, an onion, minced garlic, dry red wine, cinnamon, toasted almonds, and Pita bread. Sometimes Falafel's can take some getting used to, but this great recipe combines the great taste of falafels and the classic sandwich. First you need to born the lamb in a Dutch oven. Combine the onions, eggplant, and garlic with the meat. Add the tomatoes, cinnamon, wine, and adding as much salt as you wish. Cook for twenty minutes before you add the almonds, yogurt, and cheese. Then serve this on your pita bread to friends and family.

Canadian Provolone Mushroom Sandwich

For something a little more traditional try this provolone mushroom sandwich. You need a Kaiser roll, uncooked bacon, chopped onions, mushrooms (of your choice), Canadian bacon, provolone cheese, green peppers, and paprika. Add these ingredients in any order, then heat in microwave or toaster oven for that hot fresh taste.
