why do we bother sometimes   why not give this shit up   we're meant to be friends but we   now we can't.   can't let our guard down for too long   we value our friendship so highly   but too easily forgotten   we were so tight when we were seventeen   when we want what we want   what fucking happend that's what I've got to know      to know.   I think we've lost touch with   or maybe things have changed   what our friendships really all about   work it out   people do that's cool we can work it out      now we are older and stronger   and more our own men   just a little confused cause we don't understand   why we can't hangout forever like the old days   have been just a phase the conflict we feel   our friendship was real it couldn't   like you went and changed it   in fact is just confussion cause it feels   wasn't me it wasn't you it's all and illusion   strange   happens to us all its just not that strange      what our friendships really all about   people do that's cool we can work it out   I think we've lost touch with   we can work it out   or maybe things have changed      I thought we were meant to be friends
